It has come to my realisation long ago that VW Beetle drivers, especially females driver. they like to put sunflower or daisy flower on their dashboard.
and i've no idea why.
probably i will put a loaf of bread on my car in the future :)
and people out there.. stop leaning your body against the pole on the train when it's crowded. IT'S DAMN INCONSIDERATE!

i think i'm suffering from very serious insomnia, unable to sleep well for the past few nights. Worst still, i toss and turn around the bed for 3 freaking hours last night and when i finally manage to fall asleep, i have 4 nightmares in 3 hours. Thats like an average of 1.3333 nightmare in a hour which kept me waking up and back to sleep. Well, at least my knee doesn't hurt that often for no reason anymore..

original picture
Jia Yong's version..

and i present to you.. MINE VERY OWN VERSION!
okay.. enough of nonsense. SSC 07 Bravo 4.. well, at least i feel that all the sleepless night and the torturing MO visit is worth it for this course, very much for those specialist in my platoon. I've attended numerous specialist and senior specialist course and this is the only course so far i feel that they are striving for what they want, have a clear goal in mind and i believe these are the people who will change the corps and history. Making 49 people (45 cadets + 4 trainers) getting together is no easy task, but at least we did it. It feels more like a elder brother, younger brother and sister relationship more than a trainer and trainee one and yet again, this is the only platoon that makes me feel that. Discipline and regimentation wasn't an issue at all. They have shown us the standard they have in them and that they deserve to be part of this course.
Day 1 : Monday 03092007
Already had sleepness night on Sunday because had to settle some admin stuffs, woke up pretty early and to find out that the cadets will only arrive in the afternoon cause there is still an on-going course in the morning. Fair enough, waited till afternoon then came the West/Air SSC trainees, but the sky isnt too happy and start to have a heavy downpour.. more than half the cadets were drenched on their way to camp. In processing was a big ho ha cause of the rain and trainers have to run up and down to find their cadets. After the rain is over, proceed to the MPH for Opening Address and had some lectures which was supposed to be on Tuesday but brought forward cause of the rain. Platoon bonding wasn't this good at this point of time because everyone is still in a mess. After dinner which is the cohesion night and when your trainers have no idea what to do.. the trainees stone. Manage to get some game going with hola hoops and stuffs. At least by little, manage to bring the platoon morale high by A LITTLE BIT. And the least you ever expected is that i fell sick on saturday and it worsen on Monday, it feels like i'm an old man sleeping under the bridge coughing my life away. Was sent to MO that night and it was a torturing one. Firstly, it wasn't in Amoy Quee, so have to travel all the way to Nee Soon, the journey took around 30 mins cause the minivan cant go fast. Reach there, the medic took your BP and particulars in jeans and t-shirt then came the MO with shirt, bermudas and sandals. How cool isnt it..
Day 2 : Tuesday, 04092007
Had another sleepless night because need to settle out those mess on Monday morning and manage to at least catch 3 hours of sleep. Worst still, i'm feeling stars around my head the whole day cause of the medication effect Woke up, had breakfast and there we go for our drill trainings. Pace stick, arms and foot drills all 3 in half a day for you to absorb. Coolness isnt it. After lunch is the Arms and Footdrill test. Broke up into our individual section. Mine? Bravo 4 Section 1. This is why the trainers and trainees are here in this course for. Much of a relax mood on the trainers side but i guess the trainees hate this moment the most. Dint finish off Arms drill test within the time allocated and had to proceed on with the Footdrill. All the stern looks on the trainers face definitely feared the trainees but at least for mine, i manage to calm their nervous mood down with my 'stone'. Over and done with Footdrill and relax time for all. This is the time where trainers and trainees had talks of different things from head to toe with no restriction on topics and this is where we get to know each other more. As for those who dint finish their Arms drill, they din't have this privilege but to finish off their test. After dinner had another round of cohesion night. I think this time round was more than a failure, had the whole Bravo company seated infront of us at the MPH and the Bravo trainers are staring back at them, hence they started off with their own bombing games. And then came the headache part for trainers, we have to shortlist people for interview for the awards, especially for this platoon, everyone seems to be outstanding and have each and their own qualities. After our own interview, we shortlisted 2 names and submitted them. Off they go to their bunks for sleep and it's time for the trainers to get down to work again to print certs and arrange lanyards and ranks.
Day 3: Wednesday 05092007
Yepp, dint have enough sleep again! Off to breakfast and back to bunk to clear up their stuffs, clean up and prepare to go home. Trainees had their ceremony rehearsal while we continue to sort out last minutes errors and get the necessary things done for the graduation ceremony. Then we proceed on to our photo taking and stuffs. Had our own AAR and stuffs while the shortlisted ones go through another round of interview then proceed on with the graduation ceremony. I guess this is the time where they feel excited whether they have passed or failed this course. After the award presentation and ceremony, proceed on to the donning lanyards and presentation of ranks and certificates at the upper parade square where the sun is directly shinning down. Minutes of torture for them under the sun in exchange for their lanyards and stuff, i guess it's worth it for them afterall. 45 cadets, 3 award winners, platoon best, company bests, arms drill best and 4 instructors. The most number of award we have clinch in this course. Why? Because we're Bravo 4.. Had our own last messages and closing speech on the same parade square and there we off to our last march to company line together, had our last cheer and last words to them before we meet again. Thou we may be seperated, but the spirits and bonding in us still remain as one. Well done guys..
